Zune: Cheat Sheet of the 21st Century

"Banning baseball caps during tests was obvious -- students were writing the answers under the brim. Then, schools started banning mobile phones, realizing students could text message the answers to each other. Now, schools across the US are targeting digital media players as a potential cheating device. Devices including iPods and Zunes can be hidden under clothing... some students were downloading formulas and other material onto the players."
What amazes me about this story isn't the student's ingenious use of their Zunes and iPods, but rather the fact that these media players were allowed to be used in class to begin with! Back when I was in school (cripes I'm sounding like my grandfather), we were not allowed to have a music player in class, let alone actually listening to it during a test! I'm amazed it actually took someone using their music player to cheat before schools started banning their use.
