Buy a Zune80, Get 2 Months Zune Pass Free

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Buy & Sell" @ 12:30 PM

http://https://zunestore.net/us/cat...03(ZuneCatalog)

I got an e-mail from Zune today with the subject line "[my Zune Tag], You & Zune go way back". Enclosed was this picture:

I'm not sure if anyone else recieved a variation of this e-mail, but right now on Zune.net, if you buy a regularly-priced Zune 80 ($230), they'll throw in two months of Zune Pass free. Pretty cool, eh?

Gen1 dock for $15

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Accessories" @ 04:59 AM

http://www.wire4less.com/

Wire4Less is offering a Woot-like "one time one deal" on first generation official Zune docks. They're selling for $10 plus $5 shipping making for a decent deal, especially considering they can work with 80s as well as the 30s. The deal ends at 9 AM mountain time tomorrow, and unlike Woot, there's a 2 item per customer.

Sellout.Woot Sells Out of White Zune In 14 Minutes

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Buy & Sell" @ 04:00 AM

http://sellout.woot.com/Forums/View...?PostID=2003491

Jeez, I can't even go to bed early anymore without passing up the fine deals Woot has to offer. Luckily, last night's Sellout.Woot.com (Woot's secret sister-site with Yahoo) sale featured our favorite Portable Media Player for $90 plus $5 shipping. All 276 refurbished, white Zunes were sold out in just under 14 minutes. Wow.

So Woot members, if you're reading this, Welcome to the Social!

MyVu $100 on Woot

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Accessories" @ 11:06 PM

http://www.woot.com/

I know we're only supposed to be a Zune site, but a good deal is a good deal, and Woot seems to just keep pumping them out. Today's deal is the MyVu Personal Media Viewer Fully Loaded Edition for $100 plus $5 shipping—$100 to $200 cheaper than you'll find anywhere else. Unfortunately, this set only works with 5th generation iPods, but if you know someone who has a 5th gen player and likes offbeat gadgets, definitely check this out. I've been testing the universal version over the past few weeks, and I have to say I'm impressed. Expect a full review forthcoming, but in the mean time act fast; as with all Woots, it's over when they sell out or when the day is over.

Dell: Brown Zunes For Everybody!

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Buy & Sell" @ 12:00 AM

Okay, well at least everybody who has $100 to spend on an MP3 player...

"This is a $100 instant savings to give you the Zune 30 in brown for $96.00, no rebates, no gimmicks, just brown Zunes! The other color players are not discounted at all."

It seems that the de facto price on the Zune30s is rapidly becoming $90-$150, a far cry from Microsoft has suggested $200.

Refurb Brown Zune for only $85

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Buy & Sell" @ 02:38 PM

http://www.ecost.com/detail.aspx?EDP=39043075

As Zune2's November launch date looms nearer, it appears as if Microsoft is trying to liquidate all of its refurbs (a Woot yesterday, as well as a couple of days before, neither of which I covered, sold them for $80 and $100, respectively). Today's great deal involves just the brown refurbs, which are now being sold for $85 at eCost. Currently, there is 70 hours left on the clock, but with only 11 left, you may want to move fast.

Refurbished Black Zune: $100 at Woot

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Buy & Sell" @ 02:45 PM

http://www.woot.com/special.aspx?k=vipzune

Woot has done it again (and again). This time they're offering up all the black Zunes people sent back to the factories, refurbished and in their original retail packaging for a mere $100 (in a special, in-the-know only deal.) Considering the old Zunes are getting all the cool features of Gen2, this is nothing short of a steal. As with everything on Woot, once they're gone, they're gone. (Oh, and Woot CEO Matt Rutledge ends the post with an ominous note, "I’ve been asked to forewarn our newest members that the shop may be a bit busy on Friday — not to tip you Wooters Off or anything…" Notice the capitalization on "Wooters Off"...)
